Sausage-y Bok-Choy

So this is a surprisingly tasty dish I made on a whim when starving and was also surprised by how good it turned out.

Like most of my recipes, the operation of the stove is.. err, more art than science, and the quantities in this ingredient list and directions reflect that.


about a handful of chopped sausage

~ half vidalia onion

3-4 stalks of Bok choy

  • 1 stalk of Leek
  • some chopped scallions
  • 1 tomato or so

    some red wine, and schezuan spicy stir fry sauce.


    In a skillet, simmer all the vegetables, no oil, in red wine sauce and some of the stir fry sauce.  After they are good and cooked, but still some red wine remains, chop up the sausage, toss it in, add some more stir fry sauce, and cover.  Let simmer until the sausage is sufficiently cooked and smells nice.  Now it’s done!
